Shaun T – the Weight Loss Guru and creator of popular Fitness Programs like Insanity Asylum and Hip Hop Abs was on The Dr. Oz Show. Just finished watching the Video clip and must say it was very motivational. Shaun T, Dr. Oz, Rebekah, Tamara, Paula, Nicole, and Tiffany. What a combination!

Shaun T’s approach to working out is simple – hit the pedal hard – aim for the maximum burn. However, the body needs rest as well. So, Shaun T suggests going all out for three minutes and then letting the body relax for thirty seconds. The show highlighted four simple exercises, the good part is you won’t need to visit any gym or purchase expensive equipment to follow the Miracle 15 Minute Workout. The exercise are :
1. Double Diamond for Abs.
2. Stance Jacks for Butt.
3. The Wonder Woman for Arms and Obliques.
4. Hit the Floor for Legs.
It was real great to see Dr. Oz join Shaun T, Rebekah, Paula, Tamara, Tiffany, and other guests in the 15 minutes workout. Doesn’t he make us feel special? It is tough to imagine that he is well past 50 judging by his superb physique and stamina levels.

Shaun T wasn’t always as athletic as he is now. Back in college, as a freshman, he had lots of extra pounds of flesh – like many of us. 1. Taper Off Your Carbs. Shaun T suggests cutting down on the amount of Carbohydrates we eat. The proposed ratio is – Breakfast : 40% Carbohydrates 30% Protein 30% Fat 600 Calories … Lunch : 25% Carbs 45% Protein 30% Fat … Dinner : 15% Carbs 55% Protein 30% Fat 350 Calories.
2. Sweet Potato – the secret ingredient. According to Shaun T Sweet Potato is a very healthy food which makes us feel good. He recommends two servings a day of this nutrient rich and powerhouse food.
3. Eat Foods that expire within a week. Very sensible indeed – all of us know that preserved food items contain a lot of sugar, preservatives, and other unwanted chemicals.
